The Bicycle GirlThe Bicycle Girl

"In the tiny village of Sirhulli, a young girl named Jyoti lives with her mata, her pita, and her younger brothers and sister. Her mata works hard picking tobacco, while her pita drives a rickshaw far, far away so they can afford to send Jyoti to school. One day, Jyoti's pita is injured in an accident, and she takes the train across India to nurse him back to health. But people everywhere start falling ill, and all the trains get shut down. With no other way back, with their very last rupees, Jyoti buys a bicycle, determined to bring her pita home safe and sound. This is the inspiring and true story of a young girl's remarkable journey to save her father. It teaches us the true meaning of love, and that with determination, grit, and a belief in yourself, despite all the odds... you can go far!"
